Abstract
THE steatorrhea occurring in nontropical sprue or the "malabsorption syndrome" has been shown by several observers to be markedly decreased by treatment with ACTH or cortisone.1 2 3 4 5 6 The purpose of this study was to determine whether fat absorption in steatorrhea other than that caused by nontropical sprue might be improved by steroid therapy.
