Abstract
Three isolates of rhizosphere bacteria, which had been selected previously for their efficacy to control damping-off diseases in bedding plants, were subjected to various tests to determine their identity. One isolate was identified as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Fukumoto 1943 and the other two as Pseudomonas putida (Trevisan 1889) Migula 1895.
