Anharmonic oscillator with general polynomial potential

Abstract
This paper derives simple analytical formulas for the energy eigenvalues En(λ) of one-dimensional anharmonic oscillators characterized by the potentials ω2x2+∑mα=2 λα x2α. For doubly anharmonic oscillators, over a wide range of n and λ, these energy values agree well with the numerical values calculated by earlier workers.Keywords
