Abstract
The known Conidiobolus species have usually been synonyms. Craterellus cornucopioides was isolated by suspending a mature basidiocarp collected from Crofton, Maryland, USA, over rabbit food agar. The basidiomycete did not develop, but a fungal isolate of Conidiobolus was obtained. This Conidiobolus isolated was innoculated on potato dextrose agar. The fungus developed and reproduced and it was identified as Conidiobolus thromboides. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
