Abstract
Survey information from management faculty was used to analyze their research productivity and perceived teaching effectiveness and the impact of various characteristics of the respondents and their employer institutions on teaching and research performance. These comparisons, together with correlation analysis, indicated little, if any, link between excellence in teaching performance and research activity.Keywords
