Abstract
Measurements were presented of laser adhesions in rabbit eyes. A circular area of the retina 2.5 mm in diameter was covered with laser burns (diameter of laser beam 200 .mu.m). The strength of the adhesion was measured on the 8th and 22nd days after coagulation. The adhesive area consisted of 60-65 laser scars. The measuring technique was described by Zauberman and Berman in 1969. The group of 60-65 laser scars produced with a laser beam 200 .mu.m in diameter and distributed over a retinal area 2.5 mm in diameter withstood traction of 90-280 mg after 1 wk and 140-330 mg after 3 wk.
