Abstract
The universal velocity profile for wall-bounded turbulent flows is verified by numerical integration of the incompressible Navier-Stokes euqations. Mean velocity profiles, Reynolds stresses, and turbulent intensities are in good agreement with experiment. Von Kármán's constant is calculated to be .
