Abstract
Summary: The ideal muscle relaxant is defined. The pharmacological action of the dextro‐tubocurarine and allied compounds is described. The pharmacological action of myanesin is mentioned. Diagnostic techniques with curarisation are enumerated.Therapeutic uses of curarisation are detailed.The possibilities of further employment of muscle relaxant drugs are discussed.Keywords
