Abstract
In culture solution treated with a polychlorinated biphenyl, an aquatic angiosperm Spirodela oligorrhiza showed an unusual striped pattern of chlorosis accompanied by reduced growth. Levels of chlorophyll and total ribonucleic acid were also reduced in the treated tissues, whereas the level of deoxyribonucleic acid remained unchanged. Keywords
