Transmission of Syphilis by Fresh Blood Components

Abstract
A case of secondary syphilis is presented to re‐emphasize that fresh blood and fresh blood components can transmit syphilis despite the fact that donor serum is nonreactive when serologically tested for syphilis.Keywords
