New taxa of intertidal mites (Acari)

Abstract
One new genus and nine new species of mites are described from the marine littoral: (Astigmata) Hyadesia womersleyi from Macquarie Island; (Cryptostigmata) Pontiobates denigratus gen. nov. from New Zealand; (Mesostigmata) Leioseius vallaensis from Australia; Pontiolaelaps salinus gen. stat. nov. from New Zealand; (Prostigmata) Abrolophus zelandicus, Microtrombidium aucklandicum, Microtrombidium otagoensis from New Zealand; Microtrombidium malindiensis from Kenya; Nanorchestes hutchinsoni from Australia.Keywords
