Abstract
Earlier expectations and assertions to the contrary notwithstanding, ethnic politics is alive and well in urban America. In this study of the voting behavior of four ethnic groups in a recent election in Philadelphia, Professor Featherman finds that candidates received considerably larger support from voters belonging to their respective ethnic groups than they did from the rest of the city's voters. Keywords
