Abstract
The plasma and erythrocyte glycollptds and the fatty acid composition of glyeollplds were examined in 10 patients with Huntlngton''s chorea. The findings were within the normal range with the exception of a marked increase in the patients of erythrocyte glyco-lipid substances reacting with the thiobarbiturate method. Presumably, this difference is mainly due to a marked increase of NANA [N-acetyl neuraminic acid]. The implications of this are briefly discussed. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
