Abstract
The rationale for interstitial irradiation of tumours in and around the skull base is reviewed, and the experience accumulated with pituitary adenomas, meningiomas, and chordomas is summarized. Intracystic irradiation for craniopharyngiomas is also reviewed.Keywords
