Abstract
Crossing over in regions spanning the centromeres of chromosomes 2 and 3 in females bearing reversed acrocentric compound X chromosomes (RA) is increased 4 to 10 -fold above control values. When a crossover occurs in chromosome 3, crossing over is significantly higher in chromosome 2.
