Abstract
The health physics problems experienced with the use of a medical cyclotron are discussed. Particular reference is given to the hazards associated with the production of radioisotopes, the use of neutrons for radiotherapy, and cyclotron maintenance. The presented information is important in the design and operation of a proposed medical cyclotron laboratory. Keywords
