Abstract
The expanding use of cytotoxic drugs in cancer therapy has resulted in a confusing and increasingly frequent array of severe renal complications. This article reviews the nephrotoxicity and other renal and urological complications of commonly used drugs and the clinical setting in which they are prescribed. Emphasis is placed on the mechanisms, prevention and treatment of renal damage. Keywords
