Abstract
Methyl, ethyl esters of phosphonic and phosphinic acids were found to be efficient alkylating agents for imidazole, benzimidazole, 1,2,4-triazole, 1,2,3-benzotriazole and pyrazole, giving the corresponding N-methyl or N-ethyl derivatives. Keywords
