Abstract
We calculate the three-body potential in Skyrme's chiral symmetric model. Different geometrical configurations like triangles and chains are investigated; the results exhibit a rich structure of the three Skyrmion potential which is in qualitative agreement with calculations using realistic three-nucleon forces. The most significant signs of these three-body effects are a soft attraction for the equilateral triangle and overall repulsion for the chain configuration. Spin-isospin dependences are discussed qualitatively. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
