Abstract
This paper addresses the different perspectives of IRM as they relate to the contracting out of services, privacy and supervision, security and data pollution, and E-mail and the disintegration of the work group. It looks at the meaning of decisions about the centralization or decentralization of decision making and how multimedia and re-engineering can influence productivity. Keywords
