Abstract
This paper presents the anatomy of the Fractions Intelligent Tutoring System (FITS). FITS has been evaluated and shown to have improved on the shortcomings of existing tutors in the mathematics domain. The paper concludes with an encouragement for more researchers to publish enough for others to be able to reconstruct their systems. Keywords
