Abstract
Tetrakis-trimethylsilyl substituted sulfamide is obtained from N,N′-bis(trimethylsilyl)sulfamide (1) by reaction with butyl lithium and trimethyl bromosilane. Its structure is that of N,N,N′,O-tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)-sulfamide (3b). Tris(trimethylsilyl)-amidosulfonic acid (4 a) and N-alkyl-trimethylsilyl amidosulfonic acids can readily be obtained from silyl amines and trimethylester of chlorosulfonic acid (6).
