Abstract
The isotope shift in Li i has been studied in the hollow cathode spectrum from separated isotopes with the aid of a Fabry-Perot interferometer. Specific shifts have been determined for the , , , , , , , , and levels. The inadequacy of the Hughes-Eckart approximation is pointed out.
