Abstract
Nonautoimmune atrophic gastritis of the fundus is commonly considered chronic, progressive, and irreversible and is closely associated with gastric carcinoma and endocrine-cell tumors.1,2 Recent investigations support the hypothesis that Helicobacter pylori may have a role in causing this condition.3Keywords
