Abstract
2-Methyl-3-hexadecylpyrrolidine was synthesized. It has hemolytic activity as has solenamine, but it apparently does not have the insecticidal activity of the fire ant venom. As judged by gas chromatography, the structure is not a component of solenamine. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
