Abstract
The establishment of a computer system to process the diagnostic records of the veterinary laboratories of the Queensland Department of Primary Industries is described. A batch system is being used with an optical type input to an International Computers Limited computer. The reports are generated and then reduced photographically to standard size paper. The experience gained and the features and potential of the system are discussed including the particular advantages of the optical input system. Keywords
