Abstract
Supplemental birth certificate information when planning health programs in Wisconsin as a means of obtaining additional information has been extremely valuable in reducing blindness in infants, in the location of physically handicapped children, and in a better understanding of problems related to obstetrical practice. The supplementary material obtained on birth certificates has been found to be of extreme value in program planning.
