Abstract
A theoretical evaluation of the normal frequencies of vibration of the ethylene oxide molecule is made. The evaluation is accomplished by assuming a generalized valence force field containing twelve force constants. Values for two of the constants are assumed, and the values of the other ten are calculated so as to give values of the computed frequencies in good agreement with observed values. Keywords
