Abstract
Flexible a-Si:H solar cells were fabricated on plastic films using the roll-to-roll method. The films used in this study were 0.075 mm thick and 230 mm wide. These solar cells were fabricated in a sequential process. We studied the distribution of characteristics in the longitudinal direction of the film. A conversion efficiency of 8.02% was obtained under AM-1.5 100 mW/cm/sup 2/. Stability of the submodule was estimated, and we developed a new organic resin material. The submodule achieved high reliability at high temperature and humidity. Keywords
