Abstract
The velocity constants of propagation, transfer and termination in the polymerization of vinyl acetate at -15 and 0° C have been determined by the viscosity method. A comparison of the results with those of other authors has shown that the values for the propagation and termination constants given in table 6 are probably correct to within a factor of 2. The quantum yield of the initiating reaction has been determined, and was found to be quite small, about 0.04.Keywords
