Abstract
Aluminum cluster anions are produced in a laser vaporization source, cooled spectrometer. Pulsed uv light is used for electron detachment; the photoelectrons undergo energy analysis in a magnetic-bottle–type spectrometer. The resulting electron spectra reflect the band-structure development of aluminum clusters. Keywords
