Abstract
A 38-year-old woman with chronic myofibrositis pain was treated by the use of hypnosis and psychotherapy. Hypnotherapeutic techniques, including symptom alteration, relaxation, and insight, are described. This regimen resulted in reduction in pain and emotional distress, which was maintained at three months and one year after treatment. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
