Abstract
The chromosome pairing affinities and some morphological comparisons are described in 2 hybrids involving the autotetraploid perennial oat species, A. macrostachya, the hexaploid cultivated oat species, A. sativa and the tetraploid oat A. murphysi. Chromosome pairing in the hybrids indicates that some homology between the chromosomes of the 3 spp. exists, but that it may be masked by the preferential pairing of the chromosomes from the A. macrostachya parent. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
