Abstract
The subcutaneous implantation of either 12 or 24 mg. of stilbestrol significantly increased (<0.01%) the gains of suckling ewe and wether lambs which were running with their dams on pasture. There was no significant difference in response between the two levels of stilbestrol. Treated lambs of both sexes exhibited marked mammary development during the first 28 days of the 112-day trial.
