APPARENT GLUCANTIME FAILURE IN 5 PATIENTS WITH MUCOCUTANEOUS LEISHMANIASIS

Abstract
The case histories of 5 patients initially resistant to glucantime therapy are presented. In addition comments are made on each patient since they demonstrated unusual clinical features. The practical difficulties in assessing true resistance to glucantime are briefly discussed.
