Abstract
Maori Plaggen soils are prehistoric cultivated soils containing sand and, or, gravel transported by man. They are represented by two extreme types: those which are a layer of transported sediments poorly mixed with a former ground soil; and those where the transported sediments are well mixed. Five Maori Plaggen soils in central New Zealand are described. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
