Abstract
Impermeable sweet clover and alfalfa seed were made permeable by freezing in liquid air. No apparent injury followed repeated freezing or long subjection to cold. Solid CO2 was efficient in softening alfalfa seed, but not sweet clover. Possibly cracking of the impermeable coat takes place. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
