Abstract
Two or possibly three isozymes of the enzyme, xanthine dehydrogenase, have been detected in wildtype Drosophila melanogaster by starch-gel electrophoresis. Two genes, rosy and maroon-like, may control these isozymes by producing two different polypeptides that assemble in groups of three or four. Keywords
