Abstract
Fibrinolysis was detd. daily in 20 patients from April 14 to Aug. 20, 1948. A significant influence of the changes in temp., of humidity and of the earth''s magnetic index was observed. In addition, the balance between the coagulation-producing and fibrinolytic forces in healthy and sick persons and local influences are responsible for the formation of thrombosis. The relation of thrombosis to the meterological influence has not yet been detd.
