Abstract
Linear hypoplasia of deciduous maxillary incisors was present in 31 of 73 Guatemalan children 2 to 3 years of age, whose medical histories were followed since birth. The presence of the line seemed to correlate with infections during the first month of life. All children were born with low serum-vitamin A levels. Keywords
