Abstract
The Goudsmit-Saunderson sum for the multiple scattering of fully relativistic electrons is evaluated for the conditions of an experiment of Hanson and his collaborators. The results are consistent with those of Molière and Bethe but lie below the experimental points by as much as fifteen percent at large angles. Keywords
