Abstract
A microscopic model, constructed within the framework of the Boltzmann equation, is formulated and used to calculate particle spectra from high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions. Formation of composite particles is treated according to Hagedorn's statistical-thermodynamical approach of strong interactions. Inclusive proton, deuteron, triton, and cross sections from 400-MeV/nucleon + are calculated and found in good agreement with experiment.
