Abstract
The migration-seasons of 5 warblers of the genus Sylvia at 7 British bird observatories are defined; the records used cover at least 10 years of recording at each station, and the method allows for occasional breaks in observations. The breeding distribution and the pattern of migration of the European populations (as revealed by ringing recoveries) are also described, and related to the pattern at these British stations. The nature of the movements of each sp. at each station are discussed at the end of each section. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
