Abstract
The cyanide-resistant respiration of the sea urchin egg and of some strains of yeast, and its R.Q., are dependent on the O2 pres-sure. Glyceric acid and pyruvic acid (cyanhydrin) increase the cyanide resistant respiration of the sea urchin egg as long as it has not reached its maximal value. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
