Abstract
The fat-tailed marsupial mouse, Sminthopsis crassicaudata (Gould), has been bred under laboratory conditions. Litters have been born in all seasons of the year. The litter size has been between six and eight and the generation time 6 months. A female has given birth to a second litter 4 months after the first.Keywords
