Abstract
Statistical graphics are indispensable to good scientific research. This article highlights effective graphical methods for (a) screening and cleaning data, (b) exploring and identifying models, and (c) displaying data in counseling psychology publications. The motivating principle for this presentation is that graphs are not ancillary to scientific publications. They are essential and, in some cases, sufficient expositions of results. Keywords
