Abstract
The high-spin properties of the density dependent Gogny force are analyzed for the first time. The self-consistent cranking Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov equations have been solved to analyze the rotational nucleus . We study pairing properties, moments of inertia, E2 transitions, and gyromagnetic factors, among others, as a function of the angular momentum. The agreement with the available experimental results is very satisfactory.
