Abstract
An S-N-S Josephson junction consisting of Y-Ba-Cu-O/Au/Nb thin films has been fabricated by making use of the proximity effect. The ac-Josephson effect can be confirmed by the observation of the Shapiro steps in this S-N-S junction under microwave radiation. In addition, the effects of the magnetic field and temperature on the critical current have been demonstrated, which indicates that the junction behaves phenomenologically as a Josephson junction. Keywords
