Abstract
Monochloroacetic acid produces a marked depression in the respiration of mouse liver slices which can be demonstrated at concns. as low as 0.00005 M. The order of decreasing effect is monochloroacetic > dichloroacetic > trichloroacetic. Acetic acid has no effect. Keywords
