NaKKvacancy production in Na-Ne collisions

Abstract
Experimental evidence is presented for emission of radiation from both Na and Ne atoms in -Ne single collisions. We suggest that there will always be a sharing of vacancies between asymmetric collision partners but that the x ray from the heavier atom/ion is frequently obscured.
